Steel horse arena in construction, Central Texas

Why a Steel Arena?

Steel outperforms wood for strength, longevity, and total cost of ownership. Wide clear spans eliminate interior posts, and shop-fabricated components help us erect faster with tight tolerances.

  • Engineered for wind & rain: Built for Central Texas conditions.
  • Low maintenance: Structural steel and pre-finished panels resist rot and pests.
  • Scalable: Add length, lean-tos, or side bays later without reworking the core frame.
  • Clean construction: Kick walls, rails, gates, and chutes done right.

Popular Sizes & Clear Spans

We engineer spans, bay spacing, and eave heights to your discipline and site plan.

80' × 160'

Efficient training footprint for private ranches.

100' × 200'

Multi-discipline sweet spot—roping and barrels.

120' × 240'

Event-ready with lanes, chutes, and run-out.

Footing & Drainage (Construction Scope)

Ride consistency starts below the surface. We coordinate grading, base, and surface so your arena drains properly and rides predictably year-round.

  • Sub-grade: Cut/fill to plan, compaction, and crown for positive drainage.
  • Base: Crushed aggregate with fines for shear strength and stability.
  • Surface: Washed sand or sand-fiber blends (owner-selected).
  • Edge control: Boards/curbs or geogrid transitions keep material in place.
  • Water routing: Swales, French drains, and downspout discharge paths.

  • Kick walls, rails, gates, and chutes
  • Stall rows, tack/feed rooms, wash racks
  • Entryways, sign frames, and perimeter fencing
